Hey there! I'm Karen, your go-to Mandarin teacher from Taiwan!

With over 2 and a half years of experience teaching Mandarin, my classes are known for two things: clear pronunciation guidance and straightforward explanations.

Drawing from my background in radio work, I incorporate voice acting exercises into our lessons, adding a fun twist that students love. I'm also skilled at crafting sentences and explaining vocabulary using words students already know.

One of the favorite courses among my students? Chat sessions! They enjoy the natural, everyday Chinese they learn while engaging in lively conversations.

Whether you're a child or an adult, whether you're from Japan or the USA, my teaching approach caters to everyone. I've taught large groups of up to 15 people and smaller, more intimate classes of 2-5 students. Of course, also have the teaching experience of 1 on 1.

During my university days, I studied Mandarin teaching courses out of my love for languages and language exchange. With 8 years of language exchange experience under my belt, I understand the challenges language learners face better than most.
