I am a travel lover and have been working in Africa for 8 years. Being a safari guide is one of the most interesting job I have ever done! I have also created engaging lessons for children wildlife camps for learning animals and survival skills. Meanwhile, I have been teaching Chinese as a guest teacher and activity sponsor in University of Nairobi. I have 5 years' experience in teaching Chinese during engaging cultural visits. My main methodology is to introduce history and culture behind specific usage, which normally confuses Chinese learners a lot. Vocabulary and pronunciation is foundation at the beginning.

If you have challenges with pronunciation, I am quite good at figuring out the conflict between your native language and Chinese pinyin. This is experience from my English and other languages learning and my working environment, which helped a lot when I am looking for similiar words in your native language comparing to Chinese pinyin.

My students vary from beginners, to conversational learners, to hsk 5-6 level who is preparing for tests, to heritage speakers. For each different level student, also according to your work industry, I will always alter the contents to meet each student's learning goal.
