Hello, my name is Maria and I'm from Guangdong Province, China.

Maybe you want to learn hsk, or study GCSE, YCT, or business Chinese or other Chinese related knowledge, I can help you!

I am a postgraduate student from Beijing Normal University, specialising in Chinese International Education. Of course, I am also a Chinese language teacher with a lot of experience in teaching students of different ages and native language backgrounds.

I am very good at teaching students Chinese in a fun way, such as games, chats or other interactions. Moreover, if you come to my class, you will find that I will explain grammar, pinyin and Chinese characters very clearly, and I am sure you will make progress in my class.

Whether you are a beginner or have already learnt Chinese, if you want to learn about Chinese language and culture, I will do my best to help you.

Last but not least, I am also a very energetic and fun teacher with many hobbies such as music, martial arts, and going outdoors with friends. I am sure we will have a great time in the class.

I have two years of teaching experience, both online and offline.

My students include both children, university students studying in China and some teachers working in China. They come from different countries and have different levels of Chinese.

I have taught GCSE and YCT courses to children in the UK, with about a dozen students in the classroom. I am very good at giving students a topic and guiding them to discuss it and produce as many Chinese sentences as possible in an interesting situation.

For adults, I have taught hsk1 and hsk3 level courses, including some oral training, grammar correction and so on. I am very good at teaching Chinese grammar, characters and pinyin in a simple and clear way.

Of course, I will also tailor the content to the student's individual situation and learning needs to ensure that the student learns what they want to learn and progresses!
