Hello there, thanks for your attention, hope I am the right Chinese teacher you are looking for! I live in Shanghai and my native language is Chinese, I speak standard Mandarin. Although my main occupation is software engineering, I am extremely passionate about language learning and teaching. I have been part-time teaching business English, Chinese for international students, and HSK pre-exam courses at a local language training agency for almost two years. I deeply felt the joy and confidence boost that language learning can bring to everyone during teaching.

In my two years of teaching experience, I have summarized many effective teaching approaches for beginner, intermediate and advanced students to quickly improve.

In short, for beginners the most important thing is to establish a natural sense of language first and a fundamental understanding of modern Chinese, for intermediate and advanced students though, guidance should be given on the accuracy of pronunciation (pinyin), vocabulary, sentence(gramma) as well as practical dialog. Idiom can play an interesting role in communication, it helps the learner take a glimpse of traditional Chinese culture and further understand the language from multiple angles, which could be really intuitive. My class will also introduce a lot of lively and fun media resources, scenario teaching will double the effectiveness of language learning.

My specialties are computer science and finance, I can also speak some French and Japanese, so we may have a wide range of topics for conversation.
