Hello, dear Preply friends! Greetings from Beijing, and I'm glad you came to my profile, where I teach practical Chinese. As my students said in my review, I can make Chinese easy and practical. This is due to the fact that I am a language learner myself, I have been learning English all my life and learning on other language of Spanish and German, also I tutored my two children in English before they went abroad to study, so I know the difficulties people face when learning a second language. I create a relaxing atmosphere, with a wide range of learning materials, and personalize the lessons to the level of the student. I have been exposed to different cultures and can easily enter into conversations with different people. I have lived in the United States for almost three years and have traveled to Canada, Australia, the Maldives, and Korea.

Reading and running are two of my favorite hobbies, I can always find a different life in a book or make a close friend there; running is the best time to be alone with myself. I am an entrepreneur, my husband and I have been running a graphic advertising company in Beijing for over 15 years, and 3 years in Albuquerque, U.S.A. I started working as a part-time tutor of Chinese as a foreign language at Preply in the beginning of 2024. My teaching principle is characterized by learning by using, and I want my students to be able to apply what they learn in a timely manner to their studies, life and work. For teaching oral language, I focus on developing students' phonetics, teaching the parts and techniques of pinyin pronunciation, and consolidating the improvement through a lot of word practice. In my classroom, students are never afraid to speak Chinese because I believe that my passion for teaching can ignite their passion for speaking. This will allow you to gain oral fluency in a short period of time. When it comes to teaching Chinese characters, I use a variety of methods to make my students learn Hanzi in different dimensions. For example, I will make students memorize many characters with the same Radicals in a short time through the Radicals method. I will also follow the students' Chinese level and their reading of Chinese text at the appropriate level. It is well known that reading is an effective way to improve students' Chinese ability. I often incorporate boring grammar points into living Chinese, so that students can first feel the characteristics of the language through the examples I share, and then explain the grammar formulas to them. In addition, I am especially passionate about teaching business Chinese because I have nearly 30 years of experience in business and I can share all aspects of doing business and working in China.
