Hello! Greetings from Sweden! I'm Erik, currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Computer Science in Sweden. My journey with the Chinese language and culture has been a fascinating one, and I am excited to share it with you.

Growing up in China, I developed a strong affinity for our rich language and culture. Throughout my academic years, I consistently excelled in Chinese language studies, always ranking at the top of my class. Beyond academia, I have immersed myself in exploring the vibrant world of Chinese internet culture. I’m an avid consumer of Chinese web content, including dramas, novels, and am particularly savvy with the latest online slang and memes.

Here on this platform, my aim is to connect with advanced Chinese learners who are eager to refine their skills and grasp the nuances of authentic Chinese expressions. My approach is to facilitate a deep and meaningful engagement with the language, going beyond the basics to explore its cultural essence.

I bring a wealth of teaching experience spanning various subjects and educational levels. My journey as an educator began during my undergraduate studies, where I served as a tutor, teaching physics to high school students. This early experience not only honed my instructional skills but also instilled in me a passion for teaching complex concepts in an accessible manner.

My teaching expertise further expanded during my doctoral studies in Computer Science. Over the past six years, I have been actively involved as a Teaching Assistant for various computer science courses. This role has provided me with extensive experience in crafting and delivering curriculum, managing classroom dynamics, and offering personalized guidance to students.

My approach to teaching is fundamentally student-centered. I believe in adapting my methods to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student. This involves incorporating a mix of theoretical instruction and practical exercises, ensuring that students not only understand the material but are also able to apply it effectively.

In addition to my formal teaching roles, I have also been engaged in online tutoring, focusing on computer science subjects. As for my educational background, I hold a Master's degree in Computer Science and am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science. This solid academic foundation, combined with my hands-on teaching experience, makes me well-equipped to offer high-quality instruction in language learning.
