I'm Greta,

I started teaching Chinese in 2020, both as a private teacher and working with associations. My students are people who want to learn Mandarin for their job or personal interest, University students who want to pass their Chinese exams or people who want to achieve a HSK certificate.

My love relationship with Chinese dates back to 2011, during my first year at University. There, a few passionate teachers made me fall in love with this mysterious and complex language and its contradictory and fascinating culture.

Now, more than 10 years later, after two University degrees, a trip to Beijing, a HSK 5 certificate exam and a lot of hours spent studying and writing characters, I am a Chinese teacher.

I am also a passionate: I post articles about Chinese language and culture on my website!

Teaching Chinese obviously involves grammar rules and characters’ stroke order, but also arousing students’ curiosity and passion. With these, students can face all the peculiarities of this complex language. It is an adventure in the mysterious jungle of tones, strokes, pinyin and chengyu, but don’t worry, I’ll give you all the tools you need.

I teach Chinese since 2020.

I am a C1-certified Chinese teacher both in Chinese, and I attended a course of Chinese Didactics at University.

I teach one-to-one and group courses, both face-to-face and online. My students are beginners or intermediate learners, they need to learn Chinese for their job or for passion.

I teach General Chinese and HSK or HSKK certificate preparation courses. I also help my students prepare for their University Chinese exams.

My teaching method is student-centred: I try to arouse students' interest with listening tracks and texts related to their hobbies or work, conversations about their lives and studies.
