你好!Hi everyone, I am Chen. Jag heter Chen. I am from the home town of "Terracotta army"--Xi'an, China. I have been living there until my bachelor graduation. After that I moved aboard for my master study which is Financial Management. After meeting people from all over world, I found I am really passionate about introducing and helping people with my native culture and language and that's the reason I wanted to be a Chinese teacher. Chinese literature and ancient poetry are also my interests, which I can find different kind of beauty of this language. I am looking forward to meeting you and making friends with you!

Before everything starts, I would like to have a 10-minute talk with you to get to know you around following questions: How much you know about Chinese? Which level are you current on? What level you expect to be? What kind of way of studying you prefer or suits you the best? After all these questions, it would be easier for me to set up a plan for you!

When we start our class, I design my lecture into three parts: first we start with a warm-up by reviewing what we've learned during last course. Then in-class section, we will practice grammar, vocabulary and discuss some poems, music, movies. I can provide you with the materials you need for your studies and, after class, keep track on your studies outside classes by homework.

I also would like to help you with your exams, like HSK. For beginners, I will provide you with textbooks and exercises' books in pdf. We start from very beginning, once you've gained basic grammar structure and vocabulary, small conversation will be added for building your coherence and confidence. For intermediate or upper level learners, with your basic Chinese knowledge, we will focus on daily speaking and gain a better understanding on a more local and cultural level. I also have different interests for example painting, movies and fictions, which will all be great topics for our oral lesson! I would also recommend fun and easy-understanding movie or video for you to practice easily during normal time.
