Hi, I'm Winston. I am a native speaker of Chinese, who is from the Shanxi province of China. Because Shanxi is in the northern part of China, I do not have an accent, which is very important for you to learn Mandarin(Putonghua).

I acquire my master's degree in the UK, and this makes me know better about the culture and language differences and similarities between English speaking countries and China.

I have a wide range of interests and hobbies: movies, music, running, cycling, comics and science fiction. We can talk a lot about these topics.

I have done a volunteer job for years to teach exchange students and adults Chinese.

For students dealing with exams, we will concentrate on HSK and other textbooks, especially on reading, listening, speaking, writing and grammar issues.

For students with business or daily communication needs, we will concentrate on a conversation on different topics using specialized textbooks and use different materials, such as videos(movie etc..), audio(music, records etc..), pictures and small articles to improve language skills and deepen your memory.

My course welcomes anyone over 12 years old, whether you are beginner, intermediate or advanced. We can figure out which level you are at and set goals for future study in the first class. And you are able to decide what and how to learn, and then we can make a plan. And of course, we could just talk about what we are interested in the whole time without restrictions.
