Hello, I'm Cindy Li lao shi. I love learning languages and enjoy teaching Chinese even more. I've been teaching Chinese online since 2020 and have accumulated over 200 students and 2000 hours of teaching experience.

My students come from all over the world, including the United States, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Canada, and more. Most of them come from the United States, with backgrounds ranging from students, engineers, diplomats, doctors, teachers, marketers, magazine editors, to homemakers. Many of them are learning Chinese because their spouses or parents are Taiwanese, while others hope to live in Taiwan in the future. Therefore, in my classes, I will share a lot about Taiwanese culture with you, allowing you to learn Chinese beyond textbooks so that you can communicate immediately with your Taiwanese family or friends. I'm very patient, and in my class, you will have lots of opportunities to speak Chinese.

Apart from teaching languages, I also have a passion for learning them and researching neuroscience. In addition to my native languages, Chinese and Taiwanese, I have studied English, Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, Thai, and Czech. With my diverse learning experiences, I understand how to effectively master a language.
I love Taiwan and Chinese culture. I am fond of the philosophical ideas of Laozi and the mindfulness of Buddhism. I also enjoy traveling and have visited over twenty countries. I hope to meet you in the classroom soon!
