Hello, everyone. I am George Dai from Taiwan. I received my MA in ELT from the University of Nottingham in 2004, and I gained the certificate of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language after taking a teacher training course at Providence University in Taiwan. Since then, I had served as a part-time bilingual lecturer across many universities in Taiwan. For instance, at the University of Chung Hsing, not only did I teach freshmen English, but I also taught Mandarin Chinese to a great number of foreign exchange students, ranging from undergraduates to postgraduates, who came from a variety of cultural backgrounds, such as Asia (Japan, Bangkok, Korea, Australia, Vietnam, India), Europe (Germany, Greece, Finland, Slovakia), and the United States.

In order to realize my dream, I left schools and established my cram school afterward, where I have been teaching English to Taiwanese learners, from Children to adults, as well as Mandarin Chinese to a number of foreigners since then.

Whether at schools or private institutions, I have been enjoying teaching both Chinese and English, and seeing the progress and growth of my students has always been where my happiness alongside sense of achievement comes from.
